Our shelter will offer housing for men, women, and families. The men and women will house on opposite sides with separate rooms being available for women or men with children. Our residents are able to stay for up to 180 days.
A part of helping to end homelessness is helping our residents find employment. We will have staff available to help build resumes and fill out job applications. We will also be available for rides to and from work in the Payne County area.
We also will serve as an emergency shelter. Our shelter will offer temporary housing, clothes, and meals for those displaced by a natural disaster.
We also want to make sure that our residents are eating each and every day. We will be working with the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank and local food pantries to provide food for our residents.
Where Can You Help?
You can currently take all clothing donations to Love Inc and donate them in care of Cushing Secure Haven. We will also need hygiene products and laundry detergent for each resident once we are open.
